That honestly is the only knock against Miana because Jorge never could let her in because he knew she was too good for him. In the book as it is though, its hard to fault Miana in any way though as she was the perfect bride. That's why Sageous says that Jorg with Katherine would have been a dangerous combo because she could have honed Jorg into a much more refined and subsequently dangerous king. Miana may have wanted Jorg to change too, but I doubt she really believed her husband could change. She is the only one who thought that Jorg had the ability to be a better man. I think that if Katherine and Jorg got together that Jorg would have been the happiest and probably been the best version of himself. I would have liked to see them raising their son/children together. If their story had continued (which it should have), we would have seen a remarkable pairing/love story IMO, between Jorg and Miana. Katherine practically turned evil, torturing him in his sleep! She never tried to understand him or see anything from his point of view. They were better suited and complimented each other. She was in love with someone when they met (the guy Jorg killed in front of his father & court) and then married someone else (Prince of Arrows) that she actually loved. I thought they were going to get together after they met but there was never any chance for them. They had breakfast once together, and she did nothing but spew hatred and harsh words at him after that.
